Cleopatra missions 1 and 7 have pax requirements
New We thank you for your patience while we made NeoFly ready to be used in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. To answer the two biggest questions on your minds:
Yes your profile is intact and you can continue in 2024 from where you left off in 2020. You can switch between MSFS versions without losing your progress in NeoFly (with possibly one caveat, see note below).
No NeoFly can't tap into the 2024 missions and career mode for the visuals. We will try to use the new features available to us in 2024 while preserving the 2020 experience.
We didn't have an advance copy of MSFS2024 and we learned of some astonishing changes on release day (once we got past 97% loading). All of the 2024 aircraft (more than 150 of them!) needed to be added as new and kept separate from 2020 aircraft. Third party aircraft for both versions will mingle in the Addons list in NeoFly Settings. While we were adding the aircraft into NeoFly, we learned that Asobo made a change that significantly impacts how NeoFly detects your plane. As a result, NeoFly is no longer so focused on your livery in the sim. If you own a Cessna 152 in NeoFly, you can use any livery for it.
Note: If the plane in your NeoFly Hangar is from 2020 and it's not recognizing your plane in 2024, you might have to sell your 2020 plane and buy/rent from the 2024 aircraft market. You can switch between 2020 and 2024 from the NF Settings above the addon list. This mostly affects the aircraft market, qualifications, and homebase. If you have a homebase compiled for 2020, enable 2024 in the NF Settings and recompile it to add to 2024. This is a pretty big change so if your aircraft isn't recognized, please report it in #nf4-bug-reporting
